Which nvme SSD brand you are using?

Thinking of buying one during amazon sales, upgrade from sata, but i see the choices now very confusing. simi 3d nand, tlc 3d nand, etc.

I read mlc is best in terms of affordability and durability. I think only samsung 970pro is mlc 3d-nand around? local prices 700-800, amazon 400, for 1tb.

wd black like the most affordable + international warranty, but tiagong use tlc 3dnand.

now is use older intel sata ssd, quite reliable over the years.

if you are onto domestic application, there's no reason why 3D TLC would not last for you.

Other than the typical common sense performance.
SSD has a write limit therefore you can only write XXXXX times. They call it "endurance". Endurance, on paper, average buyer will think the more the better but realistically, average users don't really write a lot.

The type of SSD you choose will all depend on your usage. If you simply using it for games, top notch performing SSD is not gonna make a lot of sense since all you saved is less than a second loading time compare to a budget ssd.

yalor i also confused now got so many brands, last time is intel, micron and samsung. mlc is all there was. which brands i missed out?

Thanks for the link, mate...but this price is for 1TB for (now) S$380, whereas the sabrent is around S$320 is for 2TB? Did i miss something....?

Sorry if i sound noobbb....but i intend for this as my secondary storage drive, so may not need that fast speeds...so focus is still on best SGD per GB...
