Hey guys , I'hv posted this before but i didnt get much help and decided to try my luck again. I got my current rig somewhere around the end of last year (november-ish) and after 2-3 months of working absolutely fine, the rig started to have his problem where the screen would go black and say either one of this messages ' no signal input or mode not supported' It does not happen all that often but when it does its usually while playing full screen game like guild wars 2.
However recently it has gotten to the point where the problem would happen even while im on browser whilst listening to music through itunes. When it happens i would off my comp by holding the ON button, the thing is sometimes the comp would not start up it would instead power up(fan running and everything) but the screen would say 'mode not supported or no signal' then i would.Only way of making it work is to either turn the main power offed for a short period of time or reseat my GPU.
Currently i cant find the source of the problem, I would not suspect my GPU as i sent it for stress testing by CONVERGENT. They said that they could not find the problem and asked me if I would like to send it to Sapphire itself for a more thorough check up but i could not bare to use my computer with no GPU in it.
Well here are my comp Specs:
CPU & Mobo: i5-3450 & Asrock B75 PRO3M
Ram: CORSAIR VENGENCE 2X4GB
ODD: Samsung DVD
HDD: Toshiba 1TB
PSU + GPU: SAPPHIRE 7970 OC+ SeaSonic M12II-520W
SSD: Crucial M4 128gb
One last thing i would like to ask, why does one of my mouse ( i'hv got two connected, a death adder and a copper head) stay lighted up even though the computer is offed?
Thanks, sorry for the long passage
