Hi All,

I understand that coffee lake can only be pair with z370 mobo now. If I do not want to wait till next year for B/H series mobo, which processor should i get now?

My usage are simple gaming for now - csgo/dota/LoL/hearthstone/battlefield/call of duty, surf net, watch movies.

I was thinking I5-8400, but will it be very wasteful to use a z370 mobo for it? If not, is Ryzen still worth getting? Or should i get a 8600k instead?
Appreciate all opinions and advises. Thanks in advance.

8400 +cheap z370 is priced similarly to a ryzen 5 1600.unless your workload heavily favours the extra threads, i would choose intel anyday
