Never buy cute/muscular brands. Always buy gay brand Superflower

I have been using Cooler Master PSU for the past 15 years or so. Not issues at all for me, their basic models can last at least 5 years.

Not the "brand" that determines the reliability. Its the OEM they contract with to make the series thats tied to the baseline reliability? :s34:

Not all evgas are good, not all fsps are bad. If you have a PSU in mind, google for the jonnyguru or tomshardware review to help you decide.

Best answer so far. It's a folly to make one's purchase based purely the branding. There's at least 1 dud for every brand.

My list.

Depends.

Seasonic Prime is #1 on my list but some of the lower range Seasonics have issues.

PC Power&Cooling was the Rolls Royce of PSUs but lost much of their lustre after being bought by OCZ.

I tend to agree with Thermaltake being near the bottom of the list even though I'm using a Thermaltake Toughpower 750W Gold that has lasted me for years and 2 rigs without problem. I even have a spare BNIB of the same PSU as backup. :)

Don't need to depend. I already said it's my list liao. Your list can be diff from mine, not my problem. :D
