Custom cables for seasonic easy to find. Superflower don't have much presence in western countries until recently so not many custom cables available from places like cablemod. Taobao probably will have but need find reputable ones, or u can get cable extension which would work with any psu.

There is a china seller on Shoppe doing custom cables. I didn't ask about the price, tempting.

He does for the major known brands like Cosair, Seasonic, etc.

Atx size psu have cables that should be long enough. Besides if you are getting custom cables you don't need to worry since you can check the length before buying, and you won't be using stock cables unless its extension cable you are aiming for?

oh i was just asking out of curiosity

currently using superflower, so doubt ill find any custom cables.

The price of custom cables, on top of the PSU itself will be really steep especially when buying from CableMods even though their cables ship from HK.

Anyway, why not get the Asus Thor? Their OEM is actually Seasonic. But they include some upgrades that overall, seem much more worth it as opposed to buying the PSU and custom cable separately.

The 2 prominent upgrades are the Wattage readout. It just works. You do not need to connect it to your PC unless you want to control the RGB.

And the other is that the Asus Thor PSU comes equipped with the custom sleeved cables by default along with some cable combs. Extremely worth it if you ask me.

Those cables comes with PSU are standard cables, just that they are either non-modular, semi-modular or full modular.

Got link because different psu manu have different pinouts at the psu-end. Mix them up and your psu could catch fire.

You can't randomly use custom cables nor other models (even same manufacturer) cables if it's not built for it. Best case, your computer won't work. Worst case, you'll burn your components or even fire.

If you want to use custom cables (not extensions), provide the pin out (safest) if not your psu model/sku to the builder so he will properly wire for you.

If you do this, any psu can use custom cables safely.

Not anyhow make ah but some people think it's interchangable cause it being modular. This thread and that other thread it seems that people don't know how to buy custom cables safely.

Anyway in aliexpress got a builder selling full set (24pin,8pin,2x6+2pcie) for ~50$. Search for formulamod

That's why I recommend Cablemod. A complete replacement of the cable meant for your PSU.

Seasonic cables work with Asus and Seasonic and so on. Do not mix and match cables and thinking it will just work. Thus why since I already have a Seasonic cablemod custom cable, I stuck with Asus for my next purchase after checking the cable compatibility list on Cablemod.
