Which R.E.S Course Provider?

thinking of applying for RES.
there's a few course provider,
may i know which is th best value for money? what they have to offer?
anyone has reviews on them?

Some providers are affliated with certain agencies so you get course fee refund if you join the affliated agency and make sales.

I know RIA is affliated with ERA and their instructors are pretty good. Just did a course there myself. Passed first time both papers.

Depends on yr schedule. If u take fulltine, go for fastest. End of day, you just need to pass and get yr license which is most important.

Speed is the key.

I suggest RIA too. I did my course with LMA (Life Mastery Academy) and the course materials not as good as the RIA one (I borrowed my friend's notes).

Whatever learnt may be redundant. The whole purpose is just to get license.

You can try Real Centre Network. The instructors - Thomas Tan an Celest Ng are execellent. They explain the concept clearly and the notes and practise questions are great. A high percentage of students pass in their first attempt.

I took my RES course in Jan 2012. Three times a week complete the course in 1 month. There are express courses which will finish in 2 weeks meaning you will take lessons in the morning and afternoon session.

Celest is a great help in Paper 1 as she explains the law on property very well as she is also a practisioner and sits in the Singapore Mediation Council.

RCN is at HDB Hub Biz 3, #09-16. Take the lift near the SP (Singapore Power) office. They have all their classes there now. When I took RES with RCN in May last year, the classes were at SMU but now they've got a fixed place.

Like marineboy3300 says, theres a lot of different schedules to suit your timing.. But I think thats gonna change soon as the current intakes are mostly geared towards existing salesperson who need to pass RES by June 2012.
The intake timings might change after that.

Of course, now you can get a maximum of $500 grant or half of your course from UTAP if you are NTUC member for any CPD, RES and REA course. Wish I had that option when I took RES.

im thinking rcn since its near tpy mrt and it has ntuc 50% off, th review from fellow mate said rcn instructors not bad..

Bro, since April till now, u haven't decided which course center?

If u still can't decide, it may be tough for u to be in this line as we always have to make spur of the moment decisions.

I suggest u just take up RCN. The trainers are good enough.

hey hi, thanks for advice, it becoz im serving th country now, will be out by sept, birthday in oct, able to take the exam in oct, but can take the lesson before 21, exam must 21yearsold, thats why i have abit of time to consider.

btw, projects are just one aspect and most larger agencies do have new projects occasionally. You can also do your own resales and its part and parcel of real estate. Yes, even rentals or room rentals. It's all about hard work and your own discipline. I can share some of my experience with you guys.

Hi DO you have any updated RES notes? I have difficult in passing RES exam. Hard to understand. Book and actual exam is totally ask different things. English is dame chin

RCN has past exam series which will help you in your revision. They have special exam revision classes with practice session. You can call them up to check when is the next classes.

Which trg center you went to? And yes call up RCN they have specialized revision classes prior to taking the paper itself.
