Can help me to decide which router is better for me.

Currently using - Asus ROG Rapture GT-AC2900 (Dual-band gaming router)

From Starhub - 10Gbps Optical Network Router (WiFi 6)

Not so sure what you mean here.

If you are using Nokia XS-2426X-A ONR (with AX6000 wireless), that is the main router so you will anyway need to use it as a router.

As for wireless function, technically you can continue using your GT-AC2900. However, Asus has EOLed all the AC routers, inlcuding your Asus ROG Rapture GT-AC2900. So you may want to upgrade it anyway due to security concerns.

So I will say, just enable the wireless function of the Nokia ONR and see how it goes.

The last release of Asus ROG GT-AC2900 was about 1.5 years ago, use it as your own risk.

Another question, does placing an ONR on a utility storage (behind main door) transmit low WiFi 6 signal?

Note: Staying in a HDB BTO 4 room unit.

You may have to post the floor plan with details of the location of the FTP, ONT/ONR and LAN ports in the rooms.

If you put the router in the box, then during renov did you ask contractor to do some thing to improve the signal. Keep the main door close and the door of the box open or door of box removed. Better to upgrade to ONT and router.

Can i use a switchboard/splitter or something to plug the ONR to data point for me to place mesh router in master bedroom and wall data point direct to my PC desktop (living room), so my 5GB split into 2 ways.

The ONR has built-in switch, no need extra switch.

Example:
Nokia ONR 10G LAN port --> study room LAN port --> future 10G capable desktop
Nokia ONR 1G LAN port --> Living room LAN port --> Nokia Beacon 2 mesh node in living room --> Desktop PC in Living room
Nokia ONR 1G LAN port --> Main bedroom LAN port --> extra Nokia Beacon 2 node if necessary

Starhub connection scheme example (same scheme for 5Gbps/10Gbps with Nokia ONR).
