Which shop to go for troubleshooting ?

Built a new rig but fail to post. Couldn't find the problem so just want to let the pros help.

Do you hear a beep when starting up?
Is there a long beep?

if is out of the box DOA, it could be your motherboard or PSU.

its yours an AMD chipset?
if that is...
1) u didnt mount the cpu 100%
2) u mite fry that cpu (no shop will giv u 1-2-1 xchange)

try removed the button battery with the power cable unattached
leaved it off for 10 secs
remount reboot

It only fail to post when my gfx card is installed. Took it out and everything can boot.

Is there anything I can do?

Did it require 6-8 pin power connector on it ?
Wad psu u using ?

I had that issue before, to know if is your graphic card problem or board problem.
I move the graphic card to the 2nd pcie slot to test. if all boots up ok. Then is the 1st PCIE slot is the problem. If both slots do not boot up proper, it could mean your gfx problem. Then RMA the spoil one.

Next time, post the specs so that we know the problem you are facing. No specs, we can only try to give you general answers.

GTX 760 OC Hawk with Seasonic 520w the modular one.

I plug the 2 8 pin in already. One of the 8 pin is adapted from a 6 pin though.

The cable to the gfx is labeled as pcie so I guess its the right one?

Fixed. Just got to set the secure boot setting from legacy and uefi to just Uefi.
