Which specs better?

I am considering buying from either Aftershock or Dreamcore.

Their specifications are largely similar, though AS can ship on same day. But I am more concerned about the quality of the parts (i.e., can last long, won't spoil fast and good performance) and the after sales support and warranty.

Could any expert advise which is better? Do let me know if there are better sellers/builds out there which I missed out too. I have checked SLS but they seem to be slightly pricier.

Option 1: Aftershock SGD $2295

Option 2: Dreamcore SGD $2344

personally would pay the premium for better quality parts on the dreamcore build. u do drop gen4 ssd speeds but gen3 should be more than enough for most people.

Personally, I feel both are pretty much the same when it comes to spec and build. The only thing that stands out to me is the GPU where Dreamcore offers the MSI Gaming X series which should be better in build as compared to the Zotac Twin Edge series. Nonetheless, I will recommend to go with the cheapest, and/or, fastest shipping.

Someone posted a 3060ti build costing less than $2000(10/08 today), recommended PCThemes for the build as well. Maybe can take a look? Seems like better or similar hardware compared to what u listed.

I think this is a factor that people don't get it. For people that have time and knowledge to DIY, it makes a lot of sense to DIY and pay less. For the likes of Dreamcore or Aftershock, it really helps those who are not PC savvy or have no time to DIY. In my opinion, these boutique PC makers tend to use better quality parts than the likes of Dell, Lenovo, etc. Or at least, you can choose better quality parts. The after sales service don't come free, so will add to the cost of the system.

I was looking at this
https://dynacoretech.com/ready-to-s...ster-mk-ii-im306t56x-uh5-ryzen-5-asus-edition
READY-TO-SHIP DESKTOPS

[8.8] - INVADER MASTER PHASE 3 - R5 5600X + 3060 TI [ASUS EDITION]

  • S$2,068.00

Product Description

  • AMD RYZEN 5 5600X 3.7GHz 6CORE/12THREAD PCIe4.0 PROCESSOR
  • ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-E AM4 M-ATX MOTHERBOARD
  • COOLER MASTER HYPER 212 ARGB TOWER HEATSINK COOLER
  • CRUCIAL BALLISTIX 3600MHz 16GB(8GBx2) CL16 KIT
  • SAMSUNG 980 1TB 3500MB/s NVMe GEN3x4 M.2 SSD
  • ASUS DUAL RTX3060Ti O8G MINI V2 OC TWIN FAN GDDR6 GPU
  • LEADEX SUPERFLOWER LEGION GX PRO 750W 80+ GOLD SEMI MODULAR PSU
  • TECWARE FORGE M ARGB BLACK TEMPERED GLASS M-ATX CASING
  • WIFI 6 + BLUETOOTH PCIE ADAPTER
  • WINDOWS 10 HOME UNACTIVATED

Though there's hardly any reviews on the motherboard and they don't allow upgrading it. I thought can just top up abit to the TUF Gaming B550M (without the E) version as the price difference is minimal according to their own pricelist.

*Free Same Day Delivery!*
That phrase has the same meaning as sellers stating "Refurbished" - i.e. no defined meaning

Same Day Delivery can be interpreted as:
  • reaching the customer on the same day of purchase or,
  • reaching customer the same day it left AS warehouse or,
  • reaching the customer the same day it was received by the courier
Just like how 2nd hand chair Carouhellers stating Refurbished can be interpreted as:
  • limpeh sit on chair no problem
  • limpeh see chair no problem
  • limpeh test gao gao
  • limpeh test and clean gao gao
  • limpeh professionally replace and renew components with OEM parts
