I'm also looking, hoping to get something fr Sitex next week.

I'm lean more towards HP but can't find anything except spectre 13 which is a rather old model.

Indirectly they are not from the same series.

UX303 is the newer model of UX302 and then the UX301

Look closely at the naming convention

UX32 is from the series of UX31A, UX31E and so on.

UX32 is from the series of UX31A, UX31E and so on.

That is rather wrong in fact.

Correct one should be:

UX31E (non touch)-> UX31A (non touch & touch version)-> UX301 (touchscreen)
Shared characteristic
1) Integrated graphics
2) Thinner profile, uses SSD only
3) 1.3kg

UX32VD (non touch)-> UX32LN (non touch) & UX32LA (shared graphics) & UX302LG (touchscreen)
UX32LN (non touch) -> UX303LN (non touch) &UX303LA (shared graphics)
Shared characteristic
1) Dedicated graphics from G620 to current GT840 2GB apart from LA versions.
2) Thicker profile, comes with 2.5" 7mm HDD slot
3) 1.45kg

Cheers!

UX32LA is integrated graphics, UX32LN is dedicated graphics.

For C++ programming, it is the processor and RAM that is important. Graphics card is not important at all.

The processor and RAM will affect the compilation speed.
If you do not mind waiting a few minutes for compilation, actually a 4GB RAM is sufficient.

For SSD, it helps in every part of the performance. If you like everything to be faster, then you can consider SSD upgrade.

To put simply, C++ programming is not a important point to benchmark what you need your laptop for as its requirement is rather basic. You have to look into other requirements that might affect your decision on what specs to buy. :)

Cheers!

So if I'm not planning to play game on laptop, just for MS office use and watch shows, integrated graphics should be good enough right? No need get dedicated graphics?

I have set my eye for UX32LN or UX303LN - was wondering if there are any noteworthy differences between the two to go either direction? I dont need touch, FHD is good enough, but need slim and SSD. Any difference in thickness between the two? Also wonder ASUS discontinue UX32LN so quick and whether there are any quality issues etc with that version?

Any info appreciated
