i only called temple one day before going.....2600 thb...3am depart from hotel....took ard 1 1/2, 2 hrs.........

6am gate open, 8am then start first session.....numbers will be given while vehicles were waiting outside......they will ask you for lunar mth of birth and zodiac sign......donations can be made voluntarily.

simple breakefast of you tiao and soya bean / coffee was served.....and another session of high tea of bee hoon, drink served again at ard 9+, 10am.....

can bring your own dollar note and let him sign, which can be used as an amulet....can also ask separate amulet of the temple

saw devotees bring some stuffs to get the temple stamp from long wang himself......i m nt sure what were those......can anyone tell me? .
even saw one guy being given the temple stamp on top of his head...i dunno wat it signifies?

overall, experience is good....thou waiting time is long, but tht is expected.

however, the advice given is generic across all situations as what i heard while waiting, including mine......so for ppl looking at specific answers / solutions.....im afraid that's not going to happen...just IMO.....

no prob....and you can call when in bangkok....not necessarily in pattaya then can call, since i heard temple is closer to pattaya..

and the session is very short...can be from 1,2 mins all the way to 4,5 mins.......it really depends on long wang himself....

queue numbers are called in batch....when i was there, was in 2nd batch, 40-60....the temple volunteer will announce the numbers in each batch....

heard that if your wish is indeed granted, you have to go back temple to "pay back" or "huan yuan"....

when my batch was called, we sit near to long wang himself and wait for our turn.....the advice etc given seems to be generic....as in be patient, be nice to ppl / family....don't quarrel / nag etc etc......

rem to wear white colour shirt........be it long sleeve / short sleeve.....juz plain white shirt, no designs / logos, nothing.....play safe in case you get rejected and not able to visit long wang.....blue jeans is ok.....

when you first step into the temple, there will be joss sticks for devotees to use...

place 5 to the centre, 5 to the left, 5 to right, and 1 each to the left and right outside temple.

not sure if permission is needed to take pics or videos of temple interior, thou i did tk pics from outside....nv saw anyone doing so inside the temple......

saw someone using videocam......taking video without stepping into the temple itself.....find it quite weird / rude.....its after all, a religious place....

2600THB for transport is it inclusive of gasoline, tolls etc etc? or did you pay the extras separately?

orh yah, toll fees extra 220 thb pay to driver. 2600 thb is paid to temple.

Master"s Birthday Celebrations Cum Blessing Event - 6th June 2011.

This year Master"s Birthday Celebrations Cum Blessing Event will take place on the 6th June 2011 (Monday) - 5th day of the 5th Lunar Month (五月初五).

All devotees are welcomed to take part in this very joyous and auspicious event , do arrive at the temple around 6.00am on the 6th June 2011.

3rd , 4th & 5th June 2011 will be opened for consultation as usual.

No consultation on 10th, 11th & 12th June 2011.
