white gold is not cheaper than 916 gold or 24k pure gold. You effectively pay for the actual gold content. White gold is alloy mixed with silver. So depending on the actual gold content, those items you saw on groupon could possibly be less than $100.

To check, you could ask them for weight of the item and purity.

Seriously, I think white gold got no value. Looks nice only. Go for at least 916 if possible.

white gold usually got no daily price unless is 18k yellow gold. white gold not worth it la still subject to wear and tear and need to go back for rhodium plating when the silver color wear off. if you wan the silver shiny color swee swee all the time get platimun instead.
