Hi,
2014 has arrived and it brought new problem for my Com. Well, not exactly 2014 but the problem surfaced in Dec 2013.
It was a normal day when I notice that my Window clock was not correct. After looking around, I found out that actually my Bios clock was wrong, it used to be correct since day 1.
Worried that my CMOS Battery is dead or dying, I went to replace one and everything become ok.
However, last week, a new problem emerged. I'm having problem powering up my computer. I pressed the on/off button and nothing happens. Press it a few more times, nthing happens. I went for a quick toilet break and it booted up by itself after 1-2 minutes.
I did a lamp test with the power socket, no problem with the lighting. but recently I notice my com takes longer and longer to power on. I cannot tell whether if the PC will actually power on, due to the long waiting time (no lights no fan no sound, nthing at all). So all I did was to press the on/off button every 5 mins and hope it will power on.
Lastly, I do not have the tools to test out my PSU and I have confirmed that the on/off button is not jammed. When the computer is not on, there are lights on the mobo (which is normal). But even the start button on my mobo does not start up my PC. Strange problem indeed >____>
