With the 1997-like recession looming, it is good governance with the citizens united, that will steer us through the storm with minimal impact, not just political parties.

Everyone needs to play the part, especially bosses/management (esp true edmwers with our high positions/income), where we need to take care of those with lower income.
Do not furlough or layoff staff. From experience, hopefully the govt will use the income from COE & GST etc / reserves, to assist with cash flow.

The sadistic me hope so. It will eliminate many competitors and many edmwers. HWZ will become quieter, or vanquished. Those edmwers prone to insult others quickly will vanish as they scuttle for survival.

At this point, 1997 or 1933 will have limited impact on us. We are prepared.

The benevolent me felt that our world is beautiful because variety is the spice of life. Insult, praise, compliment, help, wealthy, poor, are just shades of human colours. Our world will be boring if there is only one standard.

If the world collapses to 1997 or 1933, we will simply buy off the weaklings, and control in an upturn.

Those who genuinely hope for such, .. are likely the ones with next-to-nothing to lose.

i.e. presently, .. the under-achievers.

im not under achieving

but i wish there is one so Singapore can wakeup and see whose jobs will be protected

FTs or own natural citizens

A 'reset', or something close to it, ... is not something one frivolously wishes to happen ... even if it's to 'see whose jobs will be protected ... FTs or own natural citizens'.

Many, if not most, folks will be implicated .. caught up in the tsunami ... and if anything, .. it's the ultra-rich, who will be ready with their war-chest to capitalize on such massive dips.

For me, .. it's not an event I'd take lightly.

Anyway, you do you.
