So I assume there is so many people buying at the first minute.

The earliest one can get hold of it is next friday, 5th Oct 2018, 12pm at HQ.

The technology behind it is not really anything to do with content supporting it like dolby etc. It is actually a process to convert all input audio into "dolby effect" output audio through audio pulse tweaking.
So if you are still talking about 3D audio that exist in PC platform for years, you are quite dated.


For apple usable version, you have to get SXFI Air, which is a version that has headphone inbuilt with the SXFI amp.


I machiam like creative promoter lol.

Anyway, my motivation to get the SXFI amp is it has a free headphone now, so I can replace my ATH-AD700. I have bad experience with creative headphone, and this is probably my last chance for creative to impress me.

No, I can only judge from words from the reviewer and my personal knowledge of modelling ear shape to come out with the idea of how the engineer at creative might be tackling the problem.


This is the target patent for SXFI technology from what I can search for.

One slight concern from CNET's author that tried it.

Still, it isn't perfect. Sometimes voices sound echoey, though I'm not sure if that's down to me.
