Why did Moderation close my thread?

1) sensitive topic involved, just remove them
2) derailing involved, just infract the troublemakers

why need to lock up an ok discussion topic?

can deal with the issues specifically, then reopen the thread?

Thank you for the suggestions.

From the moderating logs I can see that our moderators have been taking action on unruly behaviour from users through post removals and warnings. However, it has been assessed that these discussions were getting out of hand thereby necessitating the locking of the thread.

We are in the midst of reviewing the posts and will make a decision to open / maintain the current status quo the thread once the review is over.

Aside, we would like to wish you a happy lunar new year holidays in advance

@Shutterbox Upon further review, we will not be re-opening the thread. You are free to open a new topic on the matter.
