There is like 20k to 30k CA certified accountants in Singapore. And there are about 1k accounting firms (400 are public accounting firm) in Singapore. If u count in freelancers, there are probably thousands of them. Nothing rare at all.

What is so hard to start own firm?

Of course it’s easy, just follow your path as an ‘accounting firm boss’ who only strolls in to sign papers right? Nearly every thread you start is just flexing that you own an accounting firm. The problem is you didn't read properly.

I didn't claim to be wildly successful. In fact, in many of my replies, I have said that working for others makes more $ than running own firm in public accounting industry.

I have also highlighted the big issue with running own accounting firm. It is hard expand. Because your employees get their own accounting license, they start their own accounting firm or start his own freelance work. So this makes is hard to expand beyond a certain size.

I also empahaize that I prefer running u business than work for others, even if the former make less $. I don't like bosses to decide what time I work, what clothes I wear and when I can take leave, etc.

Can u show me my reply than I claim to be wildly successful running my own accounting firm?

In reality most, if not all, small accounting firm owner earn less than a big4 salaried partner. But I will still advice people to start own business the work whole life for others.
