Why do singaporeans hate their country?

you see, people in taiwan love their country so much that they are willing to vote yes for the 大罢免.

we have people voting trump in the US because they love their country and wanna take back their country.

meanwhile we have people here whining about foreigners and what not but come election we all know what’s going to happen.

shouldn’t we all work together to create a better singapore, regardless of whether we agree with each other or the admin’s policies?

Lol, u know what u talking about anot? There's a big group of taiwanese that wan to give up their autonomy and merge back with china. Every country will have its own haters.

And u assume ppl that vote for pap don't love their country, but I doubt that's true. Everyone jus have different view on what's best for sg.

u see like this fella, say that before he support local musicians he is a taiwanese. also brought up the idea of how mayday has lost their way due to the 我们中国人 debacle. meaning the stand of public figures and institutions are impt.

so i urge y’all to support local establishments that genuinely love singapore and are willing to support to the country (and that includes are local entertainers as well)

but there are many people who will support taiwan. some are even willing to fly back to taiwan to vote yes! they care for their country and want to save it, though there are people who vote NO! this is a democracy and let’s learn to respect people’s views
