NEWater is mixed with rainwater in the reservoirs to absorb the natural goodness of minerals in the water plus nutrients from the pee and poo of the fishes. It will taste just as good as bottled water from the mountains.

The minerals and hence taste can be altered using ion-exchange.

It's not just water. It's melted water from the ice caps. When I was in Iceland I drank the water straight from the streams, tastes exactly like evain.
