Why govt always talk about polytechnic and ITE

[tiger2013]

4 letters - NATO. No Action, Talk Only.

Implement some concrete plans and improve their overall situation then come out and talk. In some developed countries, a technical diploma is considered better than a piece of degree. People look up to them as they have specialized skills and and know their specialization well. Not only so, they are paid well. They have pride for their work.

Here, it's a piece of toilet paper.

They ownself occupy those degree jobs. while they keep influencing u all to go poly

Lol. If you are not degree caliber, stay with a dip. That is the underlying msg. And 'caliber' moves with time...

For starters there are more. Must appear to address their concerns to win vote
On technical jobs, it's to remind them structurally that's what the economy requires of them

Probably to minimize elitism in our education system as well.

You are 100% right.

This serves to fill the vacuum left behind by the FTs when they balek kampung.

They must have realized that they have an overdose of cheap FTs that one day they may be hold ransom if they decide to go on a strike.

So, they need to make some U-turn on getting local to fit the workforce gap.

They can used it conveniently as a reason to reduce the dependency on FTs and telling sinkie that they are doing their work.
