Why is there no MRT line linking Punggol and North side?

Like that how residents from North side go to work in Punggol/Sengkang and vice versa?

A link from Punggol to either Yishun/Canberra/Sembawang/Woodlands stn would be very convenient

Coz airport n a reservoir blocking it, no economic value to do undersea like mce. Even route thru the sle, there n not much housing too n many area under developed...I been waiting since 1999 for it to happen coz last time from woodland go changi camp..till now they rather keep replicate similar line like Thomson line to the east which is super long route like 960 961..dun know which genius come out this idea.. the best is still purple line, lesser station n the fastest route to city...

Punggol people also will need to go JB Bluewave, without direct train who will stay there.

Because either too expensive or public servants who drive big cars never thought about it.

maybe some big shot staying in punggol dont want the irritating in laws in north to keep coming over and visit. ban any plans to expand connectivity :ROFLMAO:
