I understand that you are in contact with our moderators via conversations. For purposes of discussion continuity, we will stick to that medium.

Thanks

I read from your reply that I was in contact with mods. It was regarding said user’s ban (whether pban or not) which I respect and did not probe further, hence I did not continue my conversation with the mod which took place roughly a week ago.

However, the reply does not answer my query.

What I am asking now is why is my thread in question locked? It has nothing to do with my private conversation with the mod.

From what I see the thread does not contain any offensive content so why is it locked? It’s just a regular discussion among EDMWers about another forum member.

Note I am not even appealing why he is banned even though I am puzzled. Despite the fact that he expresses his intent that he wishes to lay low. I respect the decision nevertheless as I’m sure mods have their reasons, hence I stopped my PM as mentioned above.

The thread is just a forum to have a regular discussion so why are our opinions being shut down when it is neither discriminatory nor offensive?

Hope you can provide more enlightenment on this, thank you.
