Maybe political party not equals country and culture? Just like as good and dominant as pap is, it’s not equal Singapore? So Japanese maybe big on certain aspect of Chinese culture but not so on the current Chinese govt.

anyway I heard romance three kingdom and sunzi art of war sort of required reading for those jap middle management last time, not sure how true.

anyway anyway Japanese very big on certain aspect of Chinese culture since centuries ago, like they very big on Chinese 禅 which became zen and they also big on Neo-confucianist chinese like Wang yangming etc.
The bowing part of Japanese culture also learnt from ancient China.. modern China already don't bow while it's well preserved and strong in modern Japan

It is not a product of CCP, read liao won't tio brainwash by CCP. The first translation piece was done between 1689 and 1692, by a japanese brothers (one monk and his brother).

Ya, I remember Slam Dunk on channel 8, but forget what age I was Liao.
Should be quite young, so cannot appreciate a classic

tiagong even got anime on zhu geliang
jippunkia believe 崖山之后无中华.. aka after the mongols forced the song dynasty officials and emperor to mass commit suicide at yashan and ended the Song dynasty, there is no more 中华 culture. what came after such as Yuan, Ming and Qing are all *******ized barbarian culture of original chinese culture.

Got some truh to it. Look at Ming pottery. All look like sh1t compared to Song pottery. Even their 科举 in ming dynasty is a joke, only focus on 四书五经 like braindead robots unlike previously a lot of creativity.

you realize after Song dynasty, the japanese seldom adopt anything from china. perhaps the biggest cultural export after the Song dynasty was Chinese novels (as opposed to only poetry) which started during mongol Yuan dynasty due to the the introduction of the prose format to China from the west. Its how novels like 三国演义 were started.

song pottery elegant and sophisticated:
