Subscribed to this thread ..... I going to buy the Kindle Oasis 7" but worried about whether I can acquire ebooks from Amazon marketplace, if I'm located in Singapore.

Where has all the old kindle thread gone. My kindle pw got the frozen screen, restart also no use. Oasis at Usd $249.90 is double the price.

- press the power button for more than 30s
- verify that the battery is actually charged

I was thinking whether to buy kindle paperwhite or kobo aura one. I read a lot of pdf ebook. I read somewhere that for reading pdf , kobo aura is better. Not sure true or not.
Most important is, is there any shop that allow us buyer to hand-on these devices first before buying?

If your pdf has not just text but graphics, then it's not a good idea to use any kind of e-ink ebook reader.
