Usually I avoid queue nowadays. Not worth wasting 30mins or more queueing for food. Usually, you can find an equivalent or better alternative elsewhere because most hawker are just using the same recipe handed down for generations from parents or bosses. They don't have time to go and experiment.

unlike larger countries where you can do roadtrips, hiking, explore trails, visit another town or climb mountains etc on the weekends.
