Why Sg no EVGA gpus? US seems to like that brand...

It's very popular in Germany as well. Personally I think their coolers aren't that great, too loud compared to MSI. EVGA is overpriced here.

I have 2x EVGA GTX770 Hydro copper. I realise that EVGA's warranty terms puts distros at a disadvantage. As long as there is no physical damge to the board, you can OC until the GPU die and still can RMA. You can change the stock cooler to your own cooler and when RMA, install whatever you took out and you're good to go.

The best partr about EVGA is their Classified series.... it comes with at least 2 BIOs. Bricked one and you can use the base BIOs to restore. Maybe that's the reason local shops don't stock them. You should see some of the crazy stuff the Ang mos do to the classified series.

Try that on other brands and you're better off banging a brick wall. Local distros will immediately tell no warranty void because the sticker is broken. The only drawback is that for EVGA users, we have to send back to Taiwan and what ever you buy, could be a RMA unit that was restored.

So far I haven't see other manufacturers coming up with multiple BIOS in the GTX 7 Series... Got what brand out there now?

My GTX770 comes with 3 BIOS. ref, Classified OC and LN2. So far the OC BIOS is giving me pretty good results even though the GPU clock can OC little only

Convergent used to distribute them locally until EVGA comes with their own warranty service....

Meaning they have their own service centre here in SG? Or just ship back to taiwan for RMA nia?

I also like to know what it means by EVGA comes with their own warranty service?.....Last time when I checked here they are talking about some global service centre kind of thing for EVGA products (something like buying from US or other countries and service in SG or somewhere)...I did not follow it as EVGA is expensive here in SG....:o

With high volume sales in America & Europe, EVGA got no interests selling their products cheaply to low volume countries like SG.

Think MSI only release dual BIOS for the 780 series. and spending close to $2k on cards and waterblock only to void the warranty is bad choice.

I rather spend money getting the EVGA hydro copper series.
