high frequent usage, no big overhaul, lack of maintenance, lack of experienced/talented engineers, poor design.

if chiu observe, during morning/peak period, cc/tel/purple tends to breakdown
if chiu observe, during raining days...... red/green lines tends to breakdown.

if is good design, the problem can be isolated first than causing the whole mrt going down.
if got experienced/talented engineers, there is a set preventive measures sop.

if i am smrt engineer,
i will use drones to check all the rail, then redeploy the personnel to do rectification/maintenance works.
i will also cut maintenance costs without compromise the quality of services.

If i am management,
i will source talents from outside, than hiring from ahem.

Public transport sucks

buy a car

that is why COE so high, because demand for car is high, cannot depend on public transportation
