why they can't standardize qr code

Just now I go shop only can use shopee and fave and one more.....

Cannot use DBS or grab to scan.

I can pay for stuff more easily with standardized apps in china...

I can even use Changi app in china any shop but not in Singapore....

This is a national embarrassment....

i thought the SGQR is a single code for all the sg banks, paynow and some of the other payment platforms- nets, grab etc

Supposed to be as it reads, but only apply to certain licencees
