My vision is more on the rugged outdoor side, x-games, confidence courses, bungee jump, etc. Leisure, entertainment, F&B and hospitality in the mid-tier mass market segment. Sort of a more developed outward bound environment. Leave all the atas, expensive developments in the south (sentosa, marina bay)
Also lots of nice walks, cycling around the island, eg. adventure trail.
Low carbon footprint, eg. restrict no. of cars, vehicles only for services. Moving around the island either on foot, bicycles or electric vehicles at controlled speed limits.
Just not sure how such an idea is feasible in the biz sense in SG.

Yr vision is exactly our Scholars’ vision leading to our immediate neighbour’s protest why they cannot have a $hare of our progress. They always shortsighted and come out with these protests that will even harm themselves more in the longterm. But truly, how to support 10M mouths to feed! ubin used to have veggie farms, prawn farms and some kelongs around the island though not substantial.

they should seriously consider being self sustaining in some of these areas.

The miw of today do not have foresight.

Slightly more than a decade ago i already told my friends, we will eat **** if ever the fiat monetary system crashes. What we have is paper $ and "human resources".

We should do farming even on ubin and extend leases beyond 30 years.

I don't think anyone believed me then.

People only learn from experience, even the miw.

What's funnier is they just formed the SFA in response to food security issues just recently.

No vision, only paid to put down oppo and talk rubbish in parliament. All a bunch of clowns.
