Wierd problem with start up on desktop

I'm running a i5-2500k with an asrock z68 professional fatality gen 3, and a corsair HX850 PSU. They have been with me for a long time, and recently they have been behaving in weird ways.

Mainly, when I start up my PC, sometimes it will not post. The fans will spin, and then it will auto power down, and then auto power on. Yet sometimes, it will definitely turn on, mainly when I do not turn off my mains power. Sometimes it will post, but hang at the motherboard logo screen.

Usually, a quick hard reset by pressing and holding the power button will fix the issues. However, it does get a little annoying. Anyone can pinpoint what the possible problem is? Thanks!

can always try changing the cmos battery first

wat does debug led show? if related to mem,
try clean ur ram stick's golden contact region with soft eraser
mayb up dram voltage very very slightly (but leave this for later)
since it auto restart on fail post, guessing it either fail mem training or fail to detect rams

Will try that too! Sigh but I'm using noctua DH-14 so quite a pain in the ass to remove ram. hahaha. Usually IIRC debug led doesn't show anything

Might be a faulty PSU.
