Just to clear up confusion, this is probably mostly all china only products although TP Link sells globally. Real shame.
They also have mercury sub brand which have cheap PoE switches and cheap versions of TP Link's already cheap routers. They also have a 80$ AX3000 router called the XDR3020. (Intel wifi on the output! But intel is quite hopeless at doing anything networking...)

It is said that TP-Link Chinese only XDR3020 (RMB399, less than S$80) AX3000 router is pretty much the same as the international version TP-Link AX50 AX3000 grade WiFi 6 router. But Challenger is selling AX50 at more than 300% of the cost of XDR3020, at an "offer" price of S$269.

Ref: AX50 powered by Intel® Home Wi-Fi WAV654 chipset.

Even the cheapest TP-Link AX10 AX1500 grade WiFi 6 router is at S$99 on offer from Challenger.

the difference is, the XDR3020 has only 3 lan ports and no USB at all
Probably not the same hardware. Base chipset yes very possibly.

1 easy search reveals they are not the same router
https://www.acwifi.net/8261.html (The 3020 has severely cut down hardware and amplifiers)

Use as Wifi AX AP very useful of course. Main router? Use something else

Thanks for the clarification. Looks like XDR3020 is a cut down version of AX50 router.

But it is pretty much still better than AX10 (S$99 on offer) in almost every aspect except that AX10 has 4 LAN ports. AX10 also got no USB ports and it is only AX1500 grade.

Ya its so much cheaper. Buy and use as AP, no need worry about chinese gui :s13: (Plus i'm assuming anyone would use for AP since wifi near ONT sure sucks, i know it does, my ac87u barely makes it to toilet and I have already put it to "not certified for singapore full power")

Transmit back also need to have same power which of course saps more power from your phone

TP-LINK TL-WDR7650, I got this single set unit from taobao. Not able to provide wifi mesh with my Xiaomi AX3600, connection with lan and extend wifi is working, 5G is good.

Been trying out the Wifi extender with my AX3600, just cannot establish the connection :( :(
