Will DIY PC become smaller in future?

Will it become the norm for DIY PC to use slim/sff casing and TFX/SFX PSU in future?

Intel NUC, mini PCs and AIOs seem to indicate consumers prefer smaller computers with less footprints.

Definitely nope, when 4K gaming is far from ideal within current thermal limits.
