It will be a risk since the spec is not out yet. No body know how good the card is. So you have to decide want wait or just go sell.

hmmm actually will be happy if i can fund $500 from my 290 lols, but i think abit hard if the newer gens are very high performing and priced at similar price point.

hmmm cause I'm going NS might not have that much time to play with le. So don't mind buying a lower end card. The thing that I'm worrying is that by the time I'm selling the card which is about end of next month, the new cards will be released and might not even get $500 for a MSI 290 especially with the pc and sapphire promo now
