I'm using Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz. Will Haswell save me on bills? How much per month?

Dude... seriously, we don't know. Probably we will never know.....

Chances are you will not see much difference compare to like not using Air-con or refrigerator.

I think a lot of the replies here are missing the bigger picture.

When one considers just the TDP alone, a difference of 20 watts might not seem much.

However, as a Haswell like the 4770 is much faster than the Q6600, the Haswell can finish tasks much faster and race to idle quicker than the Q6600.

So, it depends on what you are doing with your PC. If it's things like video/audio encoding, compiling, then you will likely save a lot more power and money. If you are using it for gaming, where your CPU will spend the same amount of time on load regardless of what the CPU is, then your savings will be lesser.

Savings yes, but I think it will be negligible, depending on what and how you use your comp on mainly.

e..g Use M/B(Z87) for the Haswell CPU (4770k) with the internal GPU (Intel HD4600) and with no overlocking or underclocking. ... ie. just 84W
+ 4sticks DDR3 RAM
+ 1HDD (Sata) + 2SSDs (sata3) + 1CD/DVD writer (sata)
+ 7*120mm Fans + 2*200mm Fans
using Thermaltake Power Supply Calculator for PSU:
Only require 305W; you save [69W base on HD5770] or
you save [126W base on HD7950]

Assume 8hr per day, so save [69Wx8*30/1000 *$0.30 =$5]
so save [126Wx8*30/1000*$0.30 = $9.072]

If with HD5770 become 374W --> 407W for Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz O/C 775
If with HD7950 become 431W --> 463W for Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz O/C 775

If I use Haswell with same graphics card 460GTX, will there be savings?

Yes. There is definitely saving.
But the time needed to recover the hardware cost is too long.
It makes no sense to buy haswell just for electricity saving.
If u want to cut down your electricity, please do look at air-con, refrigerator, water heater, washing machine etc etc.

to have big energy saving, you need to match your optimum PSU efficiency range with your rig.
