Will there be any price drop soon?

[rotiprata_]

Since the nVidia 900series is being brought in currently, will there be any significant drop in prices for the gfx below them?

Looking to upgrade my gtx260, any recommendations for cards <400?

US, maybe.
SG, no, because the new cards will be priced higher than existing.

At least in the US, I think there is going to be a big drop for the AMD R9 and R9 290X. After looking at Anandtech's review of the GTX970, nobody in their right mind will buy the R9s now, unless there is a big price gap between them. Sucks that I just bought the R9 290 recently, but my consolation is I got it at a huge discount.

Wait long long for price drops in SG...

Prices too controlled.

I don't expect prices to drop here anytime soon. What you will probably see after sometime are those very limited stock clearance.
