You sure? Currently amazon is way more expensive than our local r9 280x.

There every r9 280x and above is marked up due to mining of bitcoin.

Amazon.com: XFX RADEON Double D R9 280X 1000MHz BOOST Ready 3GB DDR5 2XmDP HDMI 2XDVI Graphics Cards R9-280X-TDFD: Computers & Accessories

Here you go. The cheapest in amazon plus free shipping.
Let me do the calculations for you. I use the highest exchange rate USD$310*1.3+7%= SGD$432. Cheapest in Sg, using laser's pricelist, SGD$468.

Msi gaming 280x here is selling SGD$499. Amazon USD$320*1.3+7%= SGD$446!

The exchange rate is a lot lower. So the savings are much higher.
They really carrot us, Singaporeans!

Even if you were to see you'll want to get R9-270 instead...

Ya i was tempted to get HIS IceQx2 270 for USD$180 free shipping.
Sapphire 265 is going for USD$170 free shipping.

Am not into numbers. I just want something value for money... so far 265 looks very promising.

Thank you for suggesting.

You can continue to see what is the pricing in laser pricelist while im interested to go for mynextcom, tradepac and possible pcthemes as for now at a competitive price against amazon. With warranty for 3 years.

Fyi msi r9 280x is priced at $469 or below.

Furthermore there are other brands like powercolor r9 280x below $425

Sapphire vapourX r9 280x $439

Gigabyte r9 280x windforce $459

If you only know how to use prices solely from price lists, you shouldn't bother visiting SLS ever again :)

U mean they still have old prices??? Which shop may i ask?

Ya, I bought my setup from SLS... they completely follow the pricelist.
So far fuwell gave me discount which was quite reasonable compared to other shops.

Since when the prices have gone up due to mining in SG???

I think you haven try with tradepac yet... Or maybe you didnt bargain enough ... or maybe Fuwell jack up prices den give u discount, going back to RRP, and you took it..

(On a more serious note) That's exactly my point why buying from SLS isn't suitable for you

If you guys are saying sls is really cheaper than amazon, can i list what i want. Then can you buy for me what i want in sls then i pay u in according to amazon pricing and free shipping to singapore. I think you should be able to earn right? I dont mind letting u earn.

I forgot to add, please include the receipt too.

Dont see why we need to help you in that sense. And we do not wish to earn that margin from you. All you need to do is just go to mynextcomonline.com to purchase and let them deliver it to you.

If the difference is <$50, I rather buy from sls and treat the extra cost as warranty fee. Plus I get the card immediately instead of having to wait for 2-3 weeks shipping.

The cost of sending back a bulky faulty card going to completely wipe out your miniscule savings.

Are you that lazy to go down and open mouth to bargain???

I think you are better off with branded desktops.

The word "bargain" doesn't exist in his brain. He can't see how a product can be $10-$50 cheaper than listed because of RRP, laziness of staff to update, SLS business practices etc.

Heck I even got a casing listed at $59 and paid $20 for it

He will ask u help him get, but i doubt u r gonna do dat.

Unlikely.

1) I operate on lump sum cash-received first basis
2) I want him to experience 1st hand that SLS is not all about price lists
3) Learn how to bloody bargain. SLS is Petaling Street, not Cold Storage
