Bought a Tecware Vega M for about $80 and built a PC in it. Everything worked except for the front Audio jacks (headphone and mic). If i stick a mic in, can tell that Windows is trying to switch to it because if i hover over the speaker icon in the taskbar to try and switch to the headphones, it keeps flickering and you can see headphones appear and disappear very rapidly. The sound switches on and off on my speakers too so i know it's trying to switch to headphone but it doesn't work.

So the front panel audio part is spoilt and i need to RMA it to Chai Chee, but thinking about taking out everything and carrying the whole case to Chai Chee which is like 1 hr away from my place.... Seems like not worth to RMA the case.

Maybe if it was $200 or $300 case makes sense but for $80, take taxi go there and back carrying the heavy case is like $40 gone liao. Not to mention must take leave just to do it.

U can dismantle the front panel IO cables and just bring the cables to TD for exchange. Call them first to make sure they have stocks to do the exchange for u

for me, i would try to contact tacware directly and TD and see if they can send me replacement IO

or u can remove the I/O and take to chai chee to replace ( waste of time) ( WASTE OF time IMO, Especially for a case)

my FD IO Panel spoil. i email FD , they sent me a replacement I/O Panel to SG FOC.
