Win 10 Oct update deleting user files

What is windows lol? Just switch to Linux and your life will be more productive

This occurs when there isn't enough space in C: drive.
No issue if your data/file is stored on another drive.

No wonder some files (My documents folder) went missing after upgrading to Windows 1809. :(

I normally won't rush into getting the latest updates for good reasons. Based on the past few Windows new release, there's always a bunch of bugs.

win10 1709 was shiat
win10 1809 is shiat

🤔

I was quite happy with 1709. In fact, I might be going back to it. Installed 1809 on 3 Oct via direct download. Noticed a bit of lag but no weird stuff like disappearing files.

1709 randomly locking fps to 30 (or 1/2 my monitor refresh rate) for most of its life before 1803 became a thing wasnt cool

I never heard of a modern Linux distro screwing up after an update. How does Microsoft a multi billion $ company not do a reliable update?
