Hi guys, I had just re-installed win 7 (original with disk) on my re-built desktop, with new HDD, new graphic card. Everything is working fine except the window update. On the day of installation, i can see that there were a few window updates (4 items) installed. After that, when I manually do a window update via the control panel, the update just do a search without anything n stayed there like forever. Even when I plug in my new iphone, the window will prompt for searching window update to install "recovery mode" driver but it never move forward and I had to skip that search.
I googled online for similar issues, they recommended to download some individual MS KB files, I tried that and installed but during installation, it is also the same problem, they are taking a long time to perform a search in window update to see if that KB file had been installed before or not.
Anyone has further advice? I'm using ViewQwest by the way if it is any help at all. Thanks.

Hi, I have already updated my config in my profile, but don know why it is not showing up on the right side of my post.

I think the profile on the right will only show up in hardware clinic.... :)
