Hey everyone,

I got a problem where my desktop won't boot up, it will show split-second of the BSOD and will not load anymore. System restore will show a 0x80070002 error when trying to restore. I have tried placing single ram on each slot and rubbing eraser on the ram's gold contact area. Is there other method that i should try before i have to resort to re-installing Windows 7. Thank you in advance fellow HWZ forumer.

Change the CMOS battery.
The button type on the MB.
CR2023
Date / time error may due to battery unable to retain status.
