Window8- Calc and disk cleanup

Hi all, i am still a new Window8 user. I cant find calculator and system tools
such as disk cleanup and defragment. No more anymore ? Need to download ?
Pls advise.

Hover around the lower-left corner until the Start button comes up, then rightclick on it, select Run, and type: calc

Hi Jamesyk07,

You can use Search Charm to find apps in Windows 8. Just type "Defragment and Optimize your drives" at the search bar.

Just a note that you can type the following into the Search Charm or Start Menu (Search Charm automatically opens up):

cleanmgr
defrag
calc

When the whole term matches it will show up. Or just press Win+R to open the Run command. There's also this superuser kinda menu that can be accessed when right-clicking the bottom left of the screen which has maintenance options.
