Afaik, 1803 was for the Delayed Oct update.
1809 was in December or something like that. Horrible! My Audio card was not detected.
All my system restore files were gone (they were back intact when I rolled back to 1803). And worst off, the UI was so slow and laggy.
Like I had some macro commands set such as to switch to a second screen which is my TV or enabling dual screen on both monitors. But my macros all failed as they were too fast when compared to the slow UI.
Take note, even though I managed to roll back to the 1803 build, letting even my sound card be easily detected again, something about the UI is just broken. Slow and laggy like before.
I had no choice but to do a full image restore from an earlier build that I created after I had all the necessary software installed.
From there, I did not press the Check for Updates button. And let Windows update automatically.
The reason why is because Microsoft said when you click on Check For Updates, you become a level 2 beta tester. Testing out their buggy unstable version of Windows. Can you believe this nonsense? This is for mainstream users and you are forcing people to get bogged down by unstable updates that could potentially ruin people's jobs? Just unacceptable.
But if you really want to die die update to 1809, go ahead. You can feel the sluggishness of the UI for sure and as seen in my experience, going back to 1803 won't help you either.
Plus, if you have no complete backup of the entire drive's image, you can expect not to be able to return to normal from this ordeal.
