Windows 10 Anniversary Update: Any Post-Update Issues?

I've read online about many issues after the Anniversary Update.

It ranges from intermittent screen freezing to losing program and device compatibility. Some users even had to re-install their OS or drivers. Others had to redo OS settings from scratch.

Have anyone faced issues after the update? I've been delaying updating because of these reported issues. So far, I'm very happy with version 1511 (10586.494). It's stable and I don't see the need to update further. The new updated features (stylus pen support etc.) don't interest me at all.

Both my office and home computers updated to the current version, no issue encountered. I read that those on SSD have issue with the latest update.

I experienced the black screen issue and missing right-click menu issue when i use IE11. No issues at all when i use Edge. So, i reset IE11 and so far, no issues encountered.

Fingers-crossed.

Oh, I'm using SSD also but have not experienced the freezing issue.

Hopefully nothing comes up later.

You might need to reconfigure graphic card options or reinstall graphic card drivers. One of my PC, I had to cleanly wipe all drivers in safe mode and reinstall again. Errors related are found in event viewer as display restarted or driver error.

Sound drivers might went kaput and require you to reinstall. Happened to my creative soundcore as I lost the ability to adjust bass.

Certain redistributable you might need to repair/reinstall. E.g VCRedist. Especially if some of your programs can't work and you find errors related to VCruntime or MSVCP in the event viewer.

The authorization pop-up sometimes does not allow the admin enabled program to run. Pop-up just closes after you click yes. Usually only happen once, you need to end the consent.exe via task manager which shows a return error pop-up, after which subsequent admin pop-up window works properly.

the update causes problem for scaling on my retina macbook 12" 2016.

Last time when i use the vsphere client, it fits the windows nicely no matter what scaling option i had set in windows 10. now i need to keep the scaling to 100% (no scaling) in order to see the VM in correct resolution. Last time it is not a problem.

Then game freeze now cannot boot into Windows and need to do a roll back.

No crash or freeze so far.
However my wireless 11ac becomes 11g for now. Haha.........

Ivybridge clean installed build 10586 thinkpad had Windows Explorer latency issues/frequent hangs as listed on 1607 AU changelog. Issue addressed after build upgrade.
Otherwise ok.
