My Windows has started giving me a blue screen of death usually just after I start it and the programs begin to load.
Just before the BSOD happens the mouse starts slowing down and then gets stuck.
It then restarts into BIOS. At this point if I switch off and start again the computer starts properly and usually there is no more problem. It's almost like the problem appears when the PC is cold.
All the fans are working properly and temperature is under control
I have a small overclock on the components but I don't think this is the reason.
I've tried doing some hardware checks. I've run memtest, checked my one HDD and SSD, and nothing comes up.
On one occasion Windows ran its own disk checking on startup, and afterwards the problem disappeared for about two weeks. At this same time I also ran memtest and did as much hardware checking as I could using CrystalDiskMark and HDDSentinel. All checks found no problems. i don't know what fixed the issue at that time. Now unfortunately it has returned again.
Any advise on how to diagnose or fixes would be appreciated.
My PC specs:
AMD 2200G with GPU @1500. CPU voltage on Auto but N/B restricted to 1.215V
MSI B350i pro ac
2x4GB Kingston HyperX o/c to 3200MHz
Firecuda 2TB
Toshiba 128GB NVME
300W PSU
