Hi, I need some help.

I can't load the windows yesterday, hence I had no choice and to reformat it.

I want to recover the photos in it, is there any way to do that?

I'm using a Samsung ATIV Smart Pro, with a 128GB SSD.

Is yours a 700T?

If you want to recover photos, only way is to take out the mSATA SSD and read it external.
But that is also provided the failure is not due to the SSD in the first place. :(

Yes, it is 700. I have already reformatted it, is it still possible to recover coz I read it is hard once the data is overwritten, it will be hard to retrieve them

Use a File Recovery Software like Recuva.

Chances are, you will be able to recover some of the photos. Might take up to 2 days for it to recover files. All the best!

sorry, misunderstood.
So machine is working now..
Next time you should come for data retrieval before reformatting.

For your SSD, the parts that you have written over, cannot be retrieve. Only parts that you have not copy over, it is possible...

So if I stbd my SSD for recovery, I'm just trying my luck? Coz we are unsure which sector is overwritten?
