Eh like how late? Like our friend mentioned, Spizzico at UE Square closes at 1030pm, while I know Prive Group restaurants like Roadhouse (Dempsey) has free corkage Mon-Thu, and University Club (NUS) has free corkage for first three bottles. Both close at 11pm. There are a few other nice restaurants with free corkage on certain weekdays too.

Many thanks! Hmm, pretty much the same wines, but I haven't had time to try all I've bought yet!

So who's drinking what this weekend?

unwound on friday evening over a 2010 Clonakilla Hilltops Shiraz with a friend at 1855 Bottle Shop 6th Avenue for $31. Not bad for the price.

but IMO not ready to drink yet, flavours could develop more.

Yup look through the list and pretty much the same wines same discount. Seems like they are just trying to clear the wines as much as they can.

I had 2 red 1 white with a friend this afternoon. He brought a Turkey Flat Butchers Block White 2010 and I opened a Turkey Flat Butchers Block red 2006 since I happened to have a bottle. Plus a half bottle Salitage Pemberton 2002 from yesterday. Salitage Pemberton is an interesting wines with plenty of secondary flavours, very similar to wine from Bordeaux with its sweet tobacco notes.

no budget, because i think we all have an understanding of what 'a wine worth ending 2012' means.

no restrictions, western, weekends preferred, weekdays still ok. december, i am dying in november.

Ok let's do it in Dec, as I already got quite a few activities in Nov and I will be joining friend for the coming wine treasure hunt too.

Western Food | No beef for me | prefer weekend but weekday ok just need advance arrangement, Dec will be good

Yes I'm interested in the Wine Treasure Hunt too. Now having a buy two get one free promotion, if any of you want to buy together.

Ok for the Wines To End The Year With dinner, how do the Saturdays 8 or 15 December sound to you? Gotta save the dates!
