The ERL TW came today. Bought the E8 already so gave the ERL to a colleague.

mine arrived. no issues pairing with android phone and sony a35. there is indeed video/audio sync issues if you're watching videos.
however, if you use apps like mx player where it allows you to adjust synchronization, it fixes that sync issues easily.

Hooted the jabra elite sports, seeing the advice from all here. First impression is good, hope it can last me a long time. Anyone knows if it is ok to just charge the case alone without the earbud inside? Thanks.

All TWE will have connectivity dropouts at some point of time when there are overwhelming interfere. I find the Jabra Elite has less of it during my review.
I’m using Jabra Elite Sports 4.5 hours. The only time i received connection drop off is when I alight the bus and walked pass the EZ-Link card scanner. However it doesn’t happen all the time. Other than that, connection is solid.
Thanks for the input.

What straps??? Is there included in the E8 standard packaging?

Yeah its expensive compared to what 'members' pay at Stereo.
Same price as normal e8 if u ignore the stereo discount. Settled for normal black in the end the leather strap seems not so robust to me. Now looking for a twe for sports.

I believe hes referring to the strap which ensures the charging case of the E8 doesnt open up

I'm using Samsung's IconX. Fit is good, though encounter the occasional drop out of my ear. But it's rare. What made me go for this is the 4gb (3.4gb usable) where I can listen to without Bluetooth connection to the phone. Saves on battery life too.

Went to PS Stereo this morning. The sales person told me the Spinfit is just softer silicon thats all.

SpinFit has an ergonomic concave design at the core to allow the ear tip to swivel, making it flexible to bend and twist to the contour of a person's ear canal.

It's able to be inserted deeper into the ear canal, enabling less obstruction along the sound field dispersion path, which results in greater audio experience while providing maximum comfort.

Checkout this short video SpinFit vs normal eartips https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gniiycvmyxM

Anyone has channel imbalance prob with e8? It plays out fine if there is no disconnection. Once there is which is bound to happen when outside, after reconnecting the sound often tend to lean towards left side. I had to unpair and pair again to reset the balance.

Also, for those who haven't buy it, using the beoplay app resets the sound signature on the e8 to neutral (both demo sets i've heard from connect-it and stereo has the same signature which is slightly bassy). If you scared you won't like the sound no matter how you tune with the app, then don't download it. I kinda tuned it back myself, 2 bars up and slighty left. Not entirely the same as the default sound tho.
