You probably have to furnish all proofs, whether by videos or pictures that its a quality issue, and its not caused by misuse.

Its not about warranty in the first place, else he would be going after FIIL directly.

Its more about seller's responsibility and obligation. The seller had sent a faulty piece and he/she is responsible to rectify it. He had already contacted the seller and seller had indicated that return is accepted. Just that the return process is a major hassle.

Out of the box, the $90 Lypertek Tevi sounds balanced with a bit of an overdose on upper-mids and highs. When you successfully install a beta version of the Android app and get to update the earpieces, the Tevi suddenly sounds different. In this comparison, the Tevi offers less (!) pronounced highs and less forward vocals than the Fiil T1X. Both offer excellent instrument placement, but the T1X convinces with better tonality and more comfort.

Just got it delivered today. Done 2 firmware upgrades. Listened to it and compare with MTW 1. Sound signiture very similar. The high range is less tamed. Bass is also alttle less forward. I just adjusted the equaliser to compensate and all is good. Take note only the latest firmware can assign button action.

Ok. Now the noise cancellation. It is so good. There is virtually no difference in sound output after turning on. Not like XM3 where there is like a layer of cover on the sound.

Fitting is definitely more comfortable as they are smaller. I am able to do more twisting adjustment in my ears.

Transparency is louder and I prefer this as MTW 1 is quite soft.

This is first impression. So far so good. No regrets on this purchase.

Sound is crystal clear, no sibilance. Excellent highs resolution and mids clearly articulated. Bass is lean, definitely not for bass heads. Soundstage not narrow nor wide typical iem soundstage. The case is small and heavy but feels sturdy as it's shell is made out of metal. The earbuds themselves are also small and lays flat in the ear.
