I have not been up to date for a long time, so I am buying a laptop to replace my aging 15 years old desktop pc, however i would still like to use back my 3*3.5" HDD as a secondary drive or network drive(wireless), any idea on how to do this without creating a mess?

Thanks in advance.

You can just get a multiple-hard disk enclosure, and slot in all 3, and basically set it up as an external box of storage on your desk or on the floor. Can just connect via USB c or usb 3.1. If wireless, I'm not too sure ah. Most likely, it'll cost more too.

Buy a NAS, plug the hard drives into the NAS and the NAS to the router, then it should be accessible over the wireless network.

Or if you just want to use a single drive the much cheaper option is to plug the drive into a USB enclosure and the enclosure into the USB port on your router, most modern routers can share the USB drive over the network.
