LOL, maybe Sineoji should be sponsor of this thread as it almost full of their customer review...

Hi guys, im trying to configure my Sineoji to work on Tinycam monitor app.

My cameras are setup like this. I have 2 routers in my house.

Group 1: Connected to Router 1 (Router 1 IP is 192.168.1.1)
Group 2: Connected to Router 2 (Router 2 IP is 192.168.2.1)

As you can see, the 2 routers are on separate network, cannot see each other.

I configured and portforwarded everything but i can only see the Camera's in Group 1. Group 2 cameras not showing. Are there any other settings i need to do?

Thank you in advance

Now the xiaoyi is officially available in Singapore with local office! 720P with 110 degress wide angle is just $69.

home camera 2, price is $179, a bit steep but at 130 degree, 1080P. Placed nicely and you will no longer need to pan tilt.

Set up is very easy, scan the qr code in your phone to the camera to setup wifi, for mounting, just use 3M tape to secure unit to wall, buy trunking around $2 per piece, and buy 3m fast charge cables at any mobile phone or computer stores.

Cheapest home surveillance camera now on the market with many features.

Read more at their website. yitechnology.com.sg, last time we all worry about no support, etc. Now officially here liao. ;)

You will configure your Router 2 as an access point so that your group 2 cameras will be assigned a dynamic IP from Router 1. As your Router 1 has already been setup with port forwarding, then it should work on tinycam. Do not forget to add the ip addresses of the cameras of group 2 that has been assigned with the new dynamic ip address in the port forwarding after your configure router 2 as an access point.

but the price of home camera 2 in CNY is 399 from taobao, $179 seems a bit high....

Agree, tats why my comment that price is steep. But still cheaper over major brands. For those with budget, 720P with 110 angle of view is a steal at $69. There is a thread which an owner posted sample picture. Very good images. It's almost double the price of what's at taobao, but we get local warranty and support

i'm looking for an IP Camera for my music/dance studio. Intend to put about 3 in the place to monitor individual studios and reception area. Here are my requirements:

1. HD Footage
2. Ability to record/store footages for up to 14 days
3. Comes with installation to help mount on my ceilings/walls.

I've been reading the forums and have seen brands such as Vstar, Xiaomi and Sineoji popping up. Any recommendations and good deals? Don't need anything too pro.

If on budget, just get xiaoyi 720P with 110 viewing angle. $69 is cheap per camera. You can use Microsd card to record, I will skip vstarcam cos of the number of rising complains we see here.

Installation wise just DIY with 3M tape. Nothing difficult, hardware store got sell double-wides tape trunking (small) to conceal. Micro USB 2 or 3metre easily buy online can

You should not consider only the price but the following:

1) Local technical support/aftersales service must be readily available
2) Reliability - high connection rate for online viewing
3) Free installation and troubleshooting
4) Safety mark (AC adapter)
5) Locally-based server
6) Company profile

Hope you can make a wise choice.

I have just installed 2 IP camera at home with Sineoji since last week. as I'm a 1st timer installing IP camera, these are my feedback.

1. Installation by Dean is smooth and fast.
2. Sharp and clear
3. Need a few extension as my power plug is not near the camera. (wasted $12 x 3 pcs extension)
3. But if using phone app, its is very irritating that the app keeps auto shut down / closed by itself while you are viewing. Confirmed my wifi no problem.
4. They having promotion this weekend in Suntec convention (Baby Fair).
5. Pricing is cheaper than I installed by $20 per camera. (so its cost saving)
6. CCTV is more stable compare to IP camera as they use wifi to connect. So if wifi down, means camera also down.

Hope this helps as a 1st timer of cameras

Hi, how much did you pay for the package? I was there yesterday, but didn't notice sineoji. Only saw Luvion Supreme Connect, but it's on the costlier side.

I paid $297 for 3 cameras, HD with pan and tilt. So is about $99 each. This includes the installation and mounting.

How long to wait for the installation? I think I'll go down and look for the booth tomorrow.

May I ask roughly where is the booth located?

My installation is scheduled on Monday. Quite fast.

They are situated just behind the British Council Booth.
